Prices: First appointment is $8/unit for both Botox and Nucieva, then $10 for Nuceiva and $11 for Botox
Botox®
Botox® is a neurotoxin that targets and relaxes the muscles in the face. As with any treatment, you need to know if this is right for you. A consultation is a great way to find out if Botox® may offer the results you are looking for.
As with any medical grade treatment, bruising can happen.
Here are some tips to avoid potential bruising prior to your appointment:
- Drink lots of water to stay hydrated
- Avoid alcohol 1 to 2 days before your visit
- Avoid Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil (Omega-3’s), and Vitamin E,
10 to 14 days prior to treatment
Your comfort during your appointment is our number one priority!
If you received an injectable treatment, we will ensure that your experience is seamless.
*You can also come in the next day after your treatment for a complimentary laser treatment should bruising occur.
If you experience a bruise, we can apply a small ice pack to take with you.
Keep the area iced right after your visit, and continue icing for the next few hours afterwards, alternating 20 minutes on and off to help with any potential swelling.
After your appointment, we’ll give you a call in a week to check-in and see how you’re doing. If this is your first time treatment your provider will often set you up with a follow-up in 2-4 weeks time to assess your results as well! You can always call or email us too!
Nucevia®
The duration required for administering a Nuceiva injection may vary depending on the size and location of the treated area.
Generally, the procedure typically spans a timeframe of approximately 10 to 20 minutes. ( I will need to confrim their appt times)
In order to maintain the desired outcomes, it is advisable to schedule subsequent injections every 3 to 4 months, ensuring that the effects of the previous treatment do not diminish.
Following the Nuceiva injection, individuals may experience mild and temporary side effects such as discomfort at the injection site. While some individuals may begin to notice changes within 2 to 3 days post-treatment, it is important to note that the full effect may take up to 14 days to become apparent.
This treatment is well-suited for a number of patients but you should NOT use this treatment if you:
- Are currently breastfeeding, pregnant, or planning to get pregnant
- Possess a known allergy to cow's milk.
- Have any existing neuromuscular conditions.
- Are below the age of 18.
- Have experienced adverse reactions to Botox or related products in the past.
- Are currently dealing with an infection at the intended treatment site.
