Nuceiva™ and Botox®
Yes, every patient undergoes a review of their medical history to ensure that there are no contraindications to the treatment. Furthermore, we conduct an evaluation of each patient's overall health and well-being before every procedure to confirm that BOTOX Cosmetic® and NUCEIVA™ are a safe and appropriate choice for them.
Both Onabotulinum toxin A and prabotulinumtoxinA for injection are purified proteins classified as pharmaceutical drugs. When administered with precision and caution by a qualified and experienced healthcare professional, like a physician or a registered nurse injector, these treatments consistently produce reliable and secure results.
BOTOX Cosmetic® and NUCEIVA™ are administered in accordance with established medical guidelines and protocols by our experienced physicians.
Typical side effects associated with BOTOX Cosmetic® and NUCEIVA™ treatments encompass:

In uncommon instances, there have been isolated reports of headaches, weakness, swelling, and itching lasting from a few hours to a few days. You should typically observe noticeable results from your BOTOX Cosmetic® and NUCEIVA™ treatment within 2 to 6 days. As time progresses, you will likely experience a gradual relaxation of the treated muscles, which will continue for approximately two weeks following the initial procedure.
- Stay upright for 2 hours
- When cleansing, avoid pressure and use gentle strokes away from the eyes
- Avoid facial massages or electrical stimulation of the face for the next 2 weeks
- Avoid wearing tight caps or garments in the area that has been injected
- Avoid alcohol and exposure to UV and extreme heat i.e. sauna, steam, sun beds, very hot showers, strenuous exercise etc
Typically, the results of BOTOX Cosmetic® and NUCEIVA™ injections are expected to endure for approximately 3 to 4 months. When the effects naturally diminish, feel free to reach out to us to schedule your next treatment session.
The first appointment is $7/unit for Botox and Nuceiva, and all following treatments are $10/unit for Nuceiva and $11/unit for Botox”
