Dr. Mohammad Attar Khan MB, BS FRCPC has 14 year experience working as consultant psychiatrist in Canada, he did his 5 year psychiatric residency training at University of Saskatchewan, Canada and did complete his child and adolescent psychiatric training there. He pursued his quest of learning and he did complete further 2 years fellow ship in forensic psychiatry from University of British Columbia, Canada. He is certified specialist by Royal College of Physician AND Surgeons of Canada, in General Adult Psychiatry, and subspecialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and Forensic psychiatry.

He is currently practicing child and adolescent psychiatry.

He is a consultant Adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist with Surrey Memorial Hospital. He does practice in Alberta for past 2 years. He is a clinical instructor at University of British Columbia. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Pashto, Urdu and Hindi. Dr. Khan likes to keep his practice preferably to patients of age bracket 6 year old and younger than 19 year of age. He prefers to see child and adolescents with ADHD, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION and OCD.  To make the referral process clear and as the services are paid by AH he will not be accepting any child and custody related patients or medicolegal assessments.

Will accept referrals for:  ADHD, ODD, Behavioral issues with Autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, Tourette syndrome, Insomnia,  bipolar and psychosis and schizophrenia
