ALLERGY CLINIC CALGARY
Welcome to Our Allergy Clinic in Calgary
At Peak, we’re more than just a trusted medical specialty clinic—we’re your partner in understanding and managing allergies. Our Calgary-based Allergy Clinic is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that helps you take control of your health and feel confident about your next steps.
Allergies can develop when your body reacts to substances it once tolerated—like pollen, food, or environmental triggers—mistaking them for harmful invaders. This immune response can lead to uncomfortable symptoms and affect your daily life. We’re here to help you uncover the cause and guide you toward relief.
If you suspect you or a loved one may have an allergy, speak with your family doctor about a referral to our clinic. We’re ready to help you breathe easier and live better.

Our Calgary Allergy Clinic provides testing for:
- Environmental Allergy – These Allergens include pollen, mold, and animal dander.
- Food Allergy – Common food allergies include peanuts, milk, eggs, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat.
- Penicillin and NSAID Drug Allergy – Penicillin is often prescribed for treating bacterial infections. Those allergic react to this antibiotic.
- Urticaria – Known as hives, this skin rash is frequently caused by allergic reactions.
If you believe you suffer from any of the above allergies, we would be happy to provide you with a consultation and test if clinically appropriate.
Ask your family doctor for a referral to a Peak Clinic today.

If you suspect you have allergies, you are a part of the 30% of Canadians who suffer from some type of allergy.
Allergies tends to be hereditary. While specific allergies are not inherited, a tendency toward having allergies is. A family history of atopy (a genetic tendency to develop allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis, asthma and eczema) can make children more susceptible to developing allergies. It is both possible to outgrow and acquire an allergy at various points in one’s lifetime with allergies most frequently appearing in children after the age of 5 and rarely after the age of 60.
No age is considered too young if a child is exhibiting symptoms of allergy. It is not generally practiced however, to test for allergens in which there have been no exposure yet.
